[Text] Xavier, what do you need?
“She is,” Oliver laughed, “How the hell am I going to top this next year?” He joked. Bruce, besides Dinah of course, was the one Oliver was closest too. He hoped that if the time came, Bruce would be able to protect his family if something had ever happened to Oliver. At the detective’s question, Oliver shrugged, “Boy.” He predicted, “But of course, I’d be happy with either.”
“A boy would be nice,” Bruce paused for a moment, with a slight smirk crossing him. “You going to teach them archery when they come of age?” The question humored him, wondering if Oliver was going to raise the child to be a hero, like the whole lot of them, or if him and Dinah were going to keep it normal and aim for them to be a normal child.
“Are you…?” He let the question hang in the air. Are you really you? Because that would be great consider the fact that Bruce had been gone for so long, and Gotham had been taking heavy hits without the Batman around. Dick, him, and Barbara — sure they did all they could, but it wasn’t always enough.
Somehow, he couldn’t really believe it was this easy. Bruce just showing up like that. After so long…? It felt… odd. Not… right.
Bruce examined Tim’s facial features, almost watching a shade of speechlessness cross him, along with being dumbfounded. With a small nod, “It’s me,” Bruce replied. It had been so long, but in a way, the entire ordeal almost seemed like a blur. Tim was taller now, hair a little shorter than before. and there was a sense of maturity that wasn’t there before.
Barbara’s dreams were hazy, and she couldn’t remember much. She could remember being batgirl, and Bruce being there as Batman. She was just starting out. But then it changed where it was her and Nightwing fighting together. Compared to how she usually slept, it peaceful. Bruce’s voice eventually roused her, and when she felt his hand on her cheek, she blinked her eyes open at him.“…Talk about what?” She asked sleepily.
She didn’t care about what she looked like right now. Bruce had surely seen in worse conditions. Yawning as she pulled herself into a sitting position, she couldn’t help the wince that came across her expression as the movement pulled on her stitches. “…You cooked?” She asked, surprised as she saw the bed tray on her nightstand.
Bruce was a bit surprised by her question, as it brought somewhat a smile to his face. “Surprised, are you?” It was an teasing question, but such a small thing brought such entertainment to Bruce; it was most likely brought on by Dick’s lack of cooking. “That would be embarrassing to say the least. Operating the gadgets that we do and not having the common sense to work an oven would be a sad day for all.” Taking a seat on the very same chair he sat on last night, the amusing through had passed, and he felt a serious tone cross him once more; although it was good to drop the subject matter, even if it was for a few passing moments.
With how blunt Bruce could be at times, this wasn’t one of them. “We need to talk about the security breach,” He leaned over a bit, crossing one leg over the other. “There was no security tape on the main room, but there was a tape that showed Ivy accessing the building from the outside; I think it’s obvious that she wasn’t alone. There was no second party because she walked in with no problem; someone was working safely from the inside of your security, which is odd because I’m positive there’s no enter holes anyone can hack into; And I’m sure you made sure that it was reinforced. I’m worried because this leaves a lot of Gotham’s criminals out, which leads me to believe that there’s an outside source that isn’t in Gotham.”
Bruce paused for a moment, and gave a small sigh. “Barbara, I don’t want to do this,” He started out, “But you’re not safe here, at least not right now. If they did it once, they could do it again.” Once more, Bruce paused. “I’m asking you to move everything to the Bat Cave for a while, and for you to move into Wayne Manor while this whole ordeal gets figured out. This is nothing permanent, but just for the time being…”

//Lolol when people get trolled by things that shouldn’t fool them.
